Mr. Casey has 21 years of real estate investment experience encompassing more than $3.9 billion in gross asset value.
Prior to co-founding Echo Bridge Partners, Mr. Casey formed Casey Capital Partners in 2009 to invest discretionary capital in multi-family properties on behalf of high net worth clients. Casey Capital Partners has invested in properties totaling more than 5,000 apartment units with a gross value in excess of $600 million.
Mr. Casey was previously a Managing Director and Partner at BayNorth Capital, a real estate private equity firm that was established in 2004 by the real estate principals of Charlesbank Capital Partners. Charlesbank is the successor to Harvard Private Capital Group, which managed the direct private equity and real estate portfolios for the Harvard University endowment fund. Mr. Casey joined Charlesbank in 1999 and was a Vice President until the formation of BayNorth Capital in 2004.
Prior to joining Charlesbank, Mr. Casey was a financial analyst in the Real Estate and Lodging Group of the Investment Banking Division at Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Casey is a graduate of the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, with a BS in Business Administration. He is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council.
Mr. DiMatteo's investment management experience spans 34 years and includes real estate transactions totaling more than $3.4 billion in gross asset value.
Prior to co-founding Echo Bridge Partners, Mr. DiMatteo was a Managing Director at Charles River Realty Investors from 2006 to 2009. Charles River invests and manages capital on behalf of institutional and high net worth clients.
Prior to joining Charles River, Mr. DiMatteo operated his own consulting and investment business which he formed in 2005.
From 1998 until 2005, Mr. DiMatteo was a real estate principal at Charlesbank Capital Partners. Charlesbank is the successor to Harvard Private Capital Group, which managed the direct private equity and real estate portfolios for the Harvard University endowment fund. Mr. DiMatteo worked at Harvard Management Company from 1984 to 1998, most recently as a Vice President of Harvard Private Capital Group. He began his career at Harvard Management Company as a Performance Analyst in the Financial Division.
Mr. DiMatteo is a graduate of Babson College, with a BS in Finance and a BS in Communications. He is a member of the Campus Planning Committee at Berklee College of Music.
